After several years of “saying yes to the dress” as a manager at a local bridal salon, Ashley realized her passion for weddings beyond bridal fashion. She began her event planning career at an art gallery where she gained experience planning corporate and social parties alike.

In 2005, Ashley started Ashley Baber Weddings with a passion for creating weddings characterized by a personal approach to aesthetics and design as well as immense attention to logistics and flow. Ashley’s passion and drive have resulted in a multitude of accolades and awards, including being named one of the “Top Wedding Planners” in the country by Martha Stewart Weddings.

Ashley throughly enjoys speaking to peers and educating future planners at various industry conferences each year. She is an adjunct Professor at the Kennesaw State University Michael A. Leven School of Culinary Sustainability and Hospitality where she teaches a wedding planning course.

Ashley graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she spent as much time pursuing her science degree as she did refining her downhill skiing prowess. Ashley lives just outside of Atlanta with her husband Don, their little ones Miller Jane, Jett Reed and their four dogs.
